The stucco is being applied in three layers referred to as (i) scratch, (ii) brown and (iii) color or texture coats. We chose the cementitious stucco for the texture / color coat. The color coat starts about 2 weeks after the brown coat (to allow the brown coat to cure, shrink and crack).
